The Minnesota Home Brewers Association is a non-profit group of homebrewers of all levels of experience located in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Organized in 1986 by a small, but enthusiastic handful of homebrewers, MHBA’s membership now numbers 150+.

The Minnesota Home Brewers Association was founded in the late 1980s by Marty Henschell, who was also served as the club’s first president. Members meet in Marty’s basement, which he named Bosso Brewing. In the early days, MHBA consisted of only about 10 people, a few of whom are still active today.
